Conceptualized around the wedding as a symbolic form open to collective reinvention, AN(8)X Festival stages its 3rd edition: 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓥𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓰𝓮. Across East and Southeast Asian cultures, weddings are highly codified rituals that serve not only to bind two individuals, but to align them within a broader network of familial, spiritual, and social obligations through performance and display.

𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓥𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓰𝓮 takes this as a social script open to queer interruption, play and reassembly: with two days in August and a special club night in September, the festival brings together artists, audiences, and strangers as temporary kin—beyond blood, legality, or tradition—to perform collective care and rehearse new configurations of intimacy, belonging, and communal life.
