KARA DELIK
Kara Delik combines driving yet complex rhythms, gritty bass lines and hints of traditional Turkish folk music. Inspired by the Anatolian rock music of the 70’s, German Krautrock and Punk of the 80s, and their diverse experiences in Berlin’s lively off-culture. At times experimental, post-punk, with a touch of shoe-gaze, they bring a new perspective to alternative music in the city, but everyone finding themselves dancing in the end.
In 2022 Kara Delik put out their first Release the EP „TAMAM“. After releasing their 7“Singles SINGULARITIES I and SINGULARITIES II in February and April of this year, they are ready to put out
SINGULARITIES III which will be released on their Releaseshow on October 19th in Berlins Underground Venue LARK.
KD toured succesfully with Tropical Fuck Storm, played three tours in GSA in smaller venues and appeared at festivals such as Fusion, Garbicz, Grauzone, Void Festival, Rock`r´Sauvage and Platzhirsch Festival. The first longplayer is expected for 2024.
SATURNO 4000
SATURNO 4000 enter the alternative music scene with a revitalising sound.
The group’s name is a play on a 1972 Cumbia-hit by Los Santos but
hints thereby to only one of many of its musical influences. Apart
from 70’s Latin sounds, the Berlin based band also incorporates
Turkish psych and polyrhythmic desert grooves of the same era into
gritty garage rock. Characterised by that eclectic vibe, catchy guitar
riffs and a driving rhythm section, SATURNO 4000’s songs have a
compelling edge and moving quality to them.
