Contemporary Berlin Post-Punk. Eine umtriebige junge Post Punk Band, deren Mitglieder Teil von weiteren unzähligen Projekten sind (Liiek, Ostseetraum, Benzin uvm.) mit 2 Alben auf Labels wie Adagio 830 und This Charming Man Records. Im Sommer 2021 erschien das neue Album „Deny All Knowledge Of Complicity“. Der Sound des Albums ist energetisch, unruhig und voller Noise-Feedback. Etwa wie eine 2021-Version der Post Punk-Legenden WIRE oder The Gordons.
Elektrokohle
Elektrokohle is a noise-post-punk trio based in Berlin. Pulling their inspirations from ’80s Punk, Noise, Krautrock, DarkSurf, and Punk-Blues, the band’s self-dubbed “Cold Punk” sound is defined somehow as a visceral and gritty mix between Suicide, Birthday Party and Warsaw with a sound palette of its own. Sparse bilingual vocals, motorik beats, industrial clangs, screeching and echoing guitar and a hypnotic synth, all amount to an intoxicating mix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?
