Opening Afterparty

Following the opening of the Spring Program with Matt Copson, Sung Tieu, Miloš Trakilović and Jessica Ekomane, KW hosts an afterparty at LARK, featuring a line-up comprised of DJs invited by the exhibiting artists. The opening and afterparty mark the kick-off of KW’s 2025 program under the new directorship of Emma Enderby. Soda Plains is Alexis Chan, a producer and DJ whose releases resist easy categorization.
While his roots lie in club music, his output moves seamlessly between genres conjuring a multifaceted language of its own. puppy is a Polish native and co-founder of Cuddles, the queer collective they co-founded with their partner Aaron Blau. Born out of Eastern European grit and molded by Berlin’s underground, puppy’s sound is a high-energy ride that blends diva-heavy house, Latin rhythms, and UK-inspired genres like breaks, bass, and grime.
Marylou is a French, Berlin-based DJ. As an affiliate to Morphine Records, YOUTH & Ominira, she layers traditional music, improv jazz and noise to dub, bass, footwork and breakcore, jumping with grace around bpms and genres.
Information on Accessibility The event will take place at LARK Berlin. LARK is on the groundfloor. It does not have accessible toilets. Seating: Seating (two couches, chairs) will be provided. Sensory stimuli: The event tends to have a high volume. The event space is darkened. The event is immersive.
During the event there will be artifical fog. The event takes place in a spacious room. Earplugs will be provided on site on request. Language: The event will be held without spoken language. Assistance: There is free admission for assisting persons. Due to club night assistance dogs cannot be brought to the event.
