On October 30, 2026, Paul Freitag will play his first solo headline concert at LARK Berlin. After several years as a solo artist and various live shows and festival appearances, this will be the first time he’s headlined an entire evening under his own name.

Musically, Paul Freitag blends German-language indie pop and indie rock, with influences from alternative and rap. At the concert, he’ll take the stage with his band and perform not only previously released songs but also new, unreleased music.

At the same time, the show is a small experiment for him: putting on his own concert as an independent artist means not only performing and making music, but also handling ticket sales, promotion, organization, and taking on a financial risk. Especially at a time when live concerts aren’t financially a given for smaller artists, the question arises: why do it anyway? For Paul, the answer lies above all in creating an evening that goes beyond streaming numbers and social media—and actually bringing the people who listen to his music together in one room.
