Die fünfköpfige Band The Moon Is No Door besticht mit krautig-rockig eindringlichem Sound: Sie sind dem Indie-Pop, sowie auch härteren, kantigeren Klängen zugewandt. Die Texte und fiktiven Dialoge basieren auf heute wieder aktuellen literarischen Stillleben der neuseeländisch-britischen Schriftstellerin Katherine Mansfield. Die Musiker:innen sind Stepha Schweiger an Vocals, Synthesizer und Keyboards, Robert Pepe Pöschl (Robert Forster, Kim Foley, Walter Salas-Humara) am E-Bass, Adam Goodwin am Kontrabass , Franz Bargmann (Michael Rother plays NEU!) an der E-Gitarre und Mäx Huber (Walter Salas-Humara, Kim Foley) am Schlagzeug.
Das Debüt-Album “Tiny Moment” – mit Release am 26. August 2022 auf L’ST records Berlin | Broken Silence Hamburg – wurde gemischt von Dirk Dresselhaus (Schneider TM), der darauf auch an der „processed” E-Gitarre zu hören ist, sowie Ulrich Krieger (Lou Reed) am Saxophon.
The Moon Is No Door spielen eine ausdrucksstarke psychedelische Live-Show.

ADAM13
Nach zwei aufsehenerregenden Alben (u.a. 2x HIT im „Soundcheck“ auf radioeins), Supportshows für Fantastic Negrito (USA), Gewalt (D), Ouzo Bazooka (ISR) und Vizediktator (D) startet ADAM13 eine Single-Reihe, die den aktuellen Zustand der Welt und der Gemüter perfekt beschreibt: „W_a_h_n_s_i_n_n_,_ _w_a_s_ _v_e_r_b_o_t_e_n_ _w_a_r_,_ _i_s_t_ _j_e_t_z_t_ _e_r_l_a_u_b_t_“. In „Gegenteilwelt“ geht es um den Balanceakt zwischen Aufstand und Erschöpfung, zwischen Frust und Freude, zwischen Pflicht und drauf pfeifen. Nicht erst seit Corona stehen Dinge auf der Kippe; was gerade noch galt, gilt im nächsten Moment nicht mehr – in der Liebe, im Privaten, in der Politik.
Phatsen (Gitarre & Gesang) und Brauer (Schlagzeug & Gesang) begeben sich ins Spannungsfeld zwischen äußerster Disziplin, Timing, ausgefeilten Breaks, treffsicheren Riffs und Licks, scharf formulierten Sätzen und dem, was die knallharte Arbeit frei legt: Überschuss, Chemie, neue Ressourcen, ein tief zufriedenes, nach innen und außen gekehrtes Lächeln beim Einzählen und Runterzählen der Songs.

After two sensational albums (among others. 2x HIT in “Soundcheck” on radioeins), support shows for Fantastic Negrito (USA), Gewalt (D), Ouzo Bazooka (ISR) and Vizediktator (D), ADAM13 starts a single series that perfectly describes the current state of the world and minds: “W_a_h_n_s_i_n_n_,_ _w_a_s_ _v_e_r_b_o_t_e_n_ _w_a_r_,_ _i_s_t_ _j_e_t_z_t_ _e_r_l_a_u_b_t_”. Opposite World” is about the balancing act between rebellion and exhaustion, between frustration and joy, between duty and not caring. Not only since Corona things are on the brink; what was just valid, is no longer valid in the next moment – in love, in private, in politics.
Phatsen (guitar & vocals) and Brauer (drums & vocals) enter the field of tension between extreme discipline, timing, sophisticated breaks, unerring riffs and licks, sharply formulated sentences and what the hard work reveals: Surplus, chemistry, new resources, a deeply satisfied smile turned inward and outward as the songs are counted in and counted down.
