We’re proud to introduce SLANG – a new Berlin-based event series that’s been brewing in our minds for some time now. The concept has always been straightforward – create a space for open-minded DJs and selectors, curate with intention and bring people together.

That’s why for our first edition we’re honoured to welcome none other than Darryn Jones. DJ, producer and Head of Durty Truth Records, his unique style and relentless approach to digging has had an inimitable impact on the disco and funk scene, far beyond his native Chicago. Rare, raw and direct – there are few who dig deeper or play meaner. We’re incredibly excited for his return to Berlin, for 4 hours of Durty Truth.

Opening the night will be our dear friend moe., a familiar face in Berlin, known for his wide range, infectious energy and true dedication to the music and dance floor. Moe pulls the kind of shit you don’t expect and he never fails to surprise us with his selection.

And closing the night we’re very excited to be joined by Afrodisiac. Her standout selections on Refuge Worldwide make for a true journey through genres, which we cannot wait to welcome to the dancefloor. Seamlessly blending traditional African sounds and modern Black dance music, she’ll be keeping us moving until the early morning.

Last but not least, we’ll have an Awareness Team on site throughout the night. Safety is paramount. If you experience any form of harassment or discrimination please let us know right away.

Standard tickets are 21€ (incl. RA fees).

To make the night as accessible and viable as possible, we also have discounted tickets available. If the price is out of your budget then please write to us on Instagram and we’ll do our very best to accommodate.

We‘ve also allocated some higher priced Support tickets, if you’re in a position to afford these it will go a really long way to turning this into a sustainable, long-term project.
