MINRU
Minru is the project of Caroline Blomqvist, a Swedish musician based in Berlin. In July 2022 she released her debut album Liminality “the threshold separating one space from another” via the German record label Morr Music. Built up from winding layers of acoustic guitar, piano, and strings, the result is beautifully lush and rich like the folk of her Swedish roots.
LIV SOLVEIG
When we think of music that echoes nature, the cliche is of something soft and quiet, gentle folk rock and leafy, whispering acoustic songs. But nature is more than that, and the vivid and real spirit of the natural world comes alive in the music of Liv Solveig. The Norwegian-German artist has a creative vision which draws as much from the crashing force of a storm as the delicacy of a raindrop, and those inspirations find life in her dynamic, explosive compositions.
TARA NOME DOYLE
Tara Nome Doyle is a 24-year old singer-songwriter with Norwegian-Irish roots. In April 2018 her first release, the song »Down with You« came out. Since then it has been streamed more than four million times. More singles and an EP called »Dandelion« followed. In January 2020 her debut album »Alchemy« was celebrated by the German press (»… like Kate Bush singing songs by Nick Cave at Berghain«, SPIEGEL). TND’s second album, »Værmin«, came out in January 2022 to even more, national and international critical acclaim. The album was produced by Simon Goff, a Grammy-award winning producer (for his work for Hildur Guðnadóttir’s »Tchernobyl« score), violinist and engineer.
